Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher for a high-achieving secondary school in Brent. You will teach KS3- KS4 and potentially KS5, delivering engaging English Language and Literature lessons and supporting GCSE and A-Level preparation.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in English or related subject.
• Strong knowledge of English and passion for teaching.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate students of varying abilities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
• ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver English Language and English Literature lessons.
• Teach across KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners.
• Assess, monitor, and track student progress.
• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development.
• Support extracurricular activities such as debating, creative writing, reading clubs, and theatre visits.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour, attendance, and achievement.
