Job summary

Freudenberg Group in Port Talbot is seeking an Inspector to join Freudenberg Flow Technologies on site. You will perform in-process quality checks using hand metrology equipment to ensure products meet specifications, supporting the energy market customers.

You will record and evaluate test results, generate QA inspection reports, highlight non-conformances, maintain equipment calibration, and work with multiple departments to uphold the highest product and process quality.

Qualifications

• Performs in process quality checks utilizing hand metrology equipment ensuring products comply with relevant specification.
• Experience in the use of 3D measurement equipment (e.g., FARO Arm, CMM) would be beneficial.
• Records, organises and evaluates test results and generates QA inspection reports as and when required.
• Highlight any non-conformances and actively contributes to the overall quality of the product and processes.
• Maintains test equipment and ensures calibration is compliant for tests to be performed.
• Understanding the materials to be tested, how they are manufactured and the impact on the end product.
• Co-operating with all departments to enhance the overall product/process quality
