We have an exciting opportunity for a Inspections Manager to join our Connect Plus Services (CPS) team, supporting the M25 London Orbital Motorway project.
CPS is a joint venture between Balfour Beatty, Atkins and Egis, responsible for operating and maintaining the M25—Europe’s busiest motorway. Delivering over £100m of annual investment, alongside planned and reactive maintenance, this is a complex and high-profile network requiring robust and efficient planning.

The Inspections Manager delivers project objectives with respect to the six key areas of performance: Health & Safety, Quality, Cost, Environment, Delivery and People.
We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual with a strong asset and inspections background to join this fast-paced team to deliver the annual M25 inspections programme. The portfolio consists of structures, mechanical/engineering, linear, drainage and safety inspections. This role will also involve direct line management of project managers, logistics managers and senior inspectors. Other requirements also include the successful delivery of the programme of tasks on time and to budget, this will include awareness of various inspections guidelines, standards and contractual completion dates.
The role will include the management of the inspections budget, this will entail compilation of cost forecasts and monthly reconciling of works completed against costs incurred. There will be procurement exercises for tendered packages of works and a good working knowledge of commercial contract administration.
Safety underpins everything we do and there is an expectation the Inspections Manager will complete 1 – 2 engagement visits per month and raise appropriate near miss or good practise reports.
