Job summary

Streamline Search Ltd is seeking an Inspection and Testing Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background to join their busy Construction team in the UK. You will conduct statutory examinations, prepare compliant reports, and advise clients on their legal obligations.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering background with a relevant qualification or experience.
• Experience in inspection, testing or compliance environments.
• Knowledge of LOLER 1998 and PUWER 1998.
• Knowledge of BS EN 1090 would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct statutory thorough examinations and inspections on lifting equipment, work equipment, plant and access equipment.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and ensure documentation meets standards.
• Advise customers on legal obligations under relevant regulations.
• Coordinate inspections with Engineers, Site Managers and Fabricators across projects.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry legislation and promote safety.
