Job summary

Kuehne + Nagel is hiring an Inspection Team Leader to oversee daily inspection activities, facilities and equipment. You will manage workloads, ensure adherence to customer specifications and quality standards, and drive throughput in line with KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily inspection team, facilities and equipment.
• Allocate workloads/resources on a daily basis.
• Ensure work meets customer specs and quality standards.
• Maintain throughput aligned with KPIs; take corrective action.
• Develop a cross-functional team covering all activities.
• Identify practical solutions to prevent issues and satisfy customers.
• Promote strong communication between team and other departments.
• Champion the PS program to achieve minimum award.
• Uphold Health & Safety standards and company policies.
• Manage wage data and holidays/absences; monitor.Ordering materials when needed and control spend.
• Perform additional tasks as agreed with Operations Manager.
• Liaise with MOD on building/infrastructure defects.
• Support recruitment processes to fill vacancies.
• Prepare monthly/weekly progress reports for Operations Management.
• Handle receipt, inspection, storage and despatch of assets per contract.
• Familiarity with customer processes, drawings and publications.
• Provide technical support to MTOs on aircraft-related matters.
• Raise Quality Notifications for non-conforming product.
