Kühne + Nagel (AG & Co.) KG in Telford is seeking a driven First Line Manager to lead day-to-day operations, ensuring performance, productivity and service levels meet customer expectations. You will manage and develop a team of Team Leaders, Warehouse Operatives and Administrators, driving safety, quality and continuous improvement across the operation.

Qualifications

• Logistics management experience in a large fast-moving environment is desirable.
• Strong warehouse system experience and leadership qualities.
• Financial and strategic acumen with a track record of delivery.
• Drive for continuous improvement and effective stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices and ability to lead by example.
• Experience meeting targets and influencing cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations and ensure service levels meet customer expectations.
• Manage and develop Team Leaders, Warehouse Operatives and Administrators.
• Plan resources and drive continuous improvement across the operation.
• Conduct management briefs and handle absence/discipline as required.
• Promote a safe, compliant and high-performing work environment.
• Engage in training and competency management to meet requirements.
