Job summary

The Collective Network Limited is seeking an Inspection Manager in Northamptonshire to lead a skilled team of CMM Operators and inspectors. You will develop and prove out CMM measurement programmes, drive quality investigations and ensure components meet GD&T requirements and strict standards.

You will guide root cause analysis, implement corrective actions and collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to advance measurement processes and compliance in a high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in CMM programming.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
• Good knowledge of measurement systems analysis.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing the inspection team.
• Creating, developing and proving out CMM measurement programmes.
• Leading metrology investigations and supporting internal and customer quality issues.
• Carrying out measurement requests, inspections and reporting.
• Supporting new product introductions, including first and last article inspections and initial sample inspection reports.
• Working closely with manufacturing and quality teams to identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
• Ensuring components meet engineering drawings, GD&T requirements and quality standards.
• Supporting continuous improvement across measurement processes, accuracy and compliance.
