Job summary

Reflexlabels in Kilmarnock, Scotland is hiring an Inspection Finisher/Rewind Operator to manage master reels, run rewind equipment to specified lengths, and apply accurate labeling information at the reflex group site.

The role focuses on maintaining reel quality, feeding master rolls into rewind machines, and calibrating equipment while ensuring all safety procedures are followed and documentation is complete for traceability.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load master reels and align reels to job labels.
• Print inner/outer cores and required traceability labels.
• Select and fix mandrel to customer specification and coresize.
• Set blades to slit reels to correct width with safety procedures.
• Use AVT inspection to remove substandard print from master reels.
• Maintain quality of slitting and ensure reels are labeled per company/customer requirements.
• Ensure line clearance procedures are followed after each job.

RolesandResponsibilities

AsanInspectionFinishingOperator,yourdutiesincludeensuringthattherollsofpaperarewoundtospecifiedlengthsontherequiredcore.Paperfromthemasterroll,willbefedintoarewindmachinethatwillmeasureoffthelengthsrequiredforthefinishedroll.Thefinishedreelswillthenberemovedfromtherewinmachineandlabelledwiththerelevantcoreandreelendinformation.Yourjobalsoincludesmaintenanceandcalibrationofyourequipment.
