Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s Cleaning Services is seeking an inspection and training assistant based at Ty Glantaf, to coordinate on-site training and inspections while delivering high-quality cleaning across council buildings.

The role runs Monday to Friday on a split shift where required and may involve demanding duties including specialist cleaning operations. A full UK driving licence is required and safeguarding duties apply.

The Council’s Facilities Cleaning service is responsible for the cleaning of various buildings throughout the Borough including schools.We are looking for dedicated membersof staff, capableof working in various building environments and able to use their own initiative.

About the role:

Working as an inspection and training assistant you will work Monday to Friday unless otherwise stated. The duties will take place over a split shift schedule or per demand as per the needs of the service. You will provide co-ordination and delivery of on-site training and inspections.

Provide effective, efficient, responsive and high-quality cleaning service as required by demand of the service to an acceptable standard.

To undertake specialist cleaning operations including house clearance or crime scene cleaning (hypodermic needles, body fluids, contaminated clothing, bedding furniture etc.,)

About you:

To be successful in this role, you must have the following attributes: -

• You must be dedicated, reliable and willing to learn new skills.
• Always polite, courteous and treat everyone with respect.
• Use own initiative and can work without close Supervision.
• A full UK Driving Licence is required.
