William James Recruitment is assisting a leading international law firm in Manchester to recruit an Insolvency Solicitor. The role focuses on high-value, contentious and non-contentious insolvency work with exposure to restructuring matters.

You will manage a varied caseload, collaborate with partners across offices, and build long-standing client relationships while delivering commercially oriented advice.

Qualifications

• 6+ years PQE as a Solicitor with strong insolvency litigation experience.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and prioritise under pressure.
• Commercially aware with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Handle high-value, contentious insolvency matters.
• Work closely with partners and cross-office teams on complex mandates.

You’ll work within a nationally recognised team known for its expertise in public sector and property-related insolvency work, collaborating closely with colleagues across multiple offices.
