Job summary

G2 Legal Limited in Glasgow is seeking a Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE in restructuring, banking or related transactional work to join our respected Insolvency & Restructuring team. You'll work directly with an experienced partner on a broad, high-value caseload and build specialist expertise.

The role offers hybrid working, hands-on mentoring and clear progression within a leading commercial practice as you handle non-contentious restructuring matters and contribute to business development.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' PQE in restructuring, banking or a related transactional area.
• Interest in developing technical expertise in non-contentious restructuring.
• Clear communication and solid drafting abilities.
• Organised, proactive with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Commercial mindset with ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Support non-contentious restructuring work including group reorganisations, refinancings, debt restructuring and business and asset sales.
• Assist on formal insolvency processes and advise lenders, corporates and insolvency practitioners.
• Draft and negotiate transactional documentation.
• Coordinate with colleagues across banking, corporate, real estate, tax and employment.
• Build client relationships and contribute to business development activity.
• Manage workstreams with guidance from senior colleagues.
