G2 Legal Limited in Glasgow is seeking a Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE in restructuring, banking or related transactional work to join our respected Insolvency & Restructuring team. You'll work directly with an experienced partner on a broad, high-value caseload and build specialist expertise.

The role offers hybrid working, hands-on mentoring and clear progression within a leading commercial practice as you handle non-contentious restructuring matters and contribute to business development.

Responsibilities

• Support non-contentious restructuring work including group reorganisations, refinancings, debt restructuring and business and asset sales.
• Assist on formal insolvency processes and advise lenders, corporates and insolvency practitioners.
• Draft and negotiate transactional documentation.
• Coordinate with colleagues across banking, corporate, real estate, tax and employment.
• Build client relationships and contribute to business development activity.
• Manage workstreams with guidance from senior colleagues.

The Role

As an Insolvency & Restructuring Solicitor based in Glasgow, you'll work directly alongside an experienced partner on a broad range of non-contentious restructuring matters, with real scope to develop technical depth and take on increasing responsibility over time.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting non-contentious restructuring work including group reorganisations, refinancings, debt restructuring and business and asset sales
• Assisting on formal insolvency processes and advising lenders, corporates and insolvency practitioners
• Drafting and negotiating transactional documentation
• Coordinating with colleagues across banking, corporate, real estate, tax and employment
• Building client relationships and contributing to business development activity
• Managing workstreams with guidance from senior colleagues

About You

• Has 2+ years' PQE in restructuring, banking or a related transactional area
• Has an interest in developing technical expertise in non-contentious restructuring
• Communicates clearly and has solid drafting skills
• Takes an organised, proactive approach and manages competing priorities effectively
• Brings a commercial mindset and is comfortable collaborating across teams
• Has experience advising lenders or insolvency practitioners - useful but not essential
