Job summary

Talk Staff Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Reporting Analyst to turn business data into meaningful insights. You will work with data from multiple systems to develop and improve reporting solutions that help teams understand performance and trends.

You will translate business needs into clear reports, collaborate with stakeholders to define information requirements, and drive data accuracy and enhanced decision-making across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in Data Analytics, Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in a reporting, data analysis or service led environment.
• Experience producing business reports and analysing data within a commercial or fast-paced environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, Power BI or similar reporting and data visualisation tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of data accuracy.
• The ability to interpret complex information and communicate in simplified terms.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• A proactive approach, with the confidence to question information and identify opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Analysing data to identify trends, risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Translate business requirements into meaningful reporting solutions.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their information and reporting needs.
• Provide clear analysis and recommendations to support operational and commercial decision-making.
• Ensure data is accurate, consistent and reliable across reporting systems.
• Work with data from multiple systems and platforms, consolidating information to provide meaningful business insight.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, automation and efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and performance reporting.
• Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular insight to relevant stakeholders.
• Present complex information in a clear and accessible way to a range of audiences.
• Challenge assumptions where appropriate and use data to support evidence-based decision-making.
