Job summary

Chambers and Partners is seeking a Research Analyst/Writer to join its Insight team in a hybrid role, with 2 days per week in London or Birmingham. You will transform commentary from research into compelling, clear copy for law firm rankings.

You will work with quantitative and qualitative data from our guides, writing 200/400 words per chapter, and producing concise executive summaries while maintaining high accuracy and adherence to house style.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing skills, concise and clear communication.
• Ability to draw broad conclusions after reviewing raw data and notes.
• Reliable time management and meeting tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Ability to closely follow house style in all reports.
• Intellectually curious with a penchant for analysis.
• High attention to detail in data handling and copy.

Responsibilities

• Using the research database to find relevant raw data.
• Tidying interview comments for sense and clarity.
• Rendering comments anonymous to protect identities.
• Drawing conclusions about how rankings were arrived at using research notes.
• Producing compelling copy that is clear and accessible to lay readers.
• Summarising findings in a concise executive summary.
• Ensuring factual accuracy and up-to-date information in reports.
