Job summary

Ayvens is seeking an Insight & Reporting Analyst to join the Finance Team. You will transform complex data into actionable insights, develop Power BI dashboards, and deliver timely asset risk reporting to support key business decisions.

You will work across Asset Risk and Finance, collaborating with stakeholders, improving data quality, and driving automation initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency throughout the organisation.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel and data reporting skills.
• Strong analytical abilities with data manipulation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present to varied audiences.
• Experience creating dashboards and reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and datasets for Asset Risk insights.
• Produce regular and ad hoc Asset Risk reports to support decision-making.
• Analyze fleet, residual value, maintenance and pricing data to identify risks.
• Improve data quality and controls through automation and process development.
• Collaborate with Asset Risk and Finance teams on data solutions.
• Support system testing, implementation and user training for reporting enhancements.
• Ensure governance and audit compliance for reporting activities.

We are currently seeking an Insight & Reporting Analyst to join the Finance Team at Ayvens. This is an exciting opportunity for a data-driven analyst who enjoys transforming complex data into meaningful insight. The role will play a key part in supporting business decisions through reporting, visualisation and analytical recommendations across Asset Risk and Finance.

Key Purpose

Produce, maintain and enhance Asset Risk reporting and dashboards, ensuring accuracy, relevance and timely delivery. Support the development of reporting, visualisation and automation solutions using Power BI, SAS and other reporting tools. Provide meaningful analysis and insight through reporting and data interrogation, supporting the Asset Risk team in identifying trends, risks and opportunities. Identify, investigate and resolve data quality issues to improve confidence in reporting and decision-making.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards, reporting solutions and datasets to provide accurate, timely insights and improve visibility of key business metrics and risks. Produce regular and ad hoc Asset Risk reporting and analysis to support business decision-making, projects and stakeholder requirements. Analyse industry, fleet, residual value, maintenance and pricing data, identifying risks and recommending appropriate actions. Improve data quality, reporting accuracy and controls through advanced data analysis, process development and automation. Collaborate with Asset Risk and wider Finance teams to deliver reporting requirements and common data solutions. Support pricing system testing, implementation and user training for system enhancements. Ensure reporting, analysis and data management activities comply with internal governance, control and audit requirements.

Skills, Experience & Background

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas and macros, with strong data analysis and reporting capabilities. Experience developing data visualisations and dashboards using Power BI to support business decision-making. Strong analytical skills with experience using SQL, VBA, SAS or similar tools for data manipulation, reporting and automation. Ability to produce regular and ad hoc reports that provide meaningful insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Understanding of data governance, data quality principles and the importance of maintaining effective controls. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to a range of audiences. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Experience identifying, implementing and supporting process improvements and automation initiatives.
