Job summary

Transport for London is seeking a Data Reporting & Analytics Specialist to design and implement advanced reporting solutions across the Elizabeth Line functions. You will translate complex operational challenges into scalable technical models and provide insight-led improvements.

The role emphasizes data engineering, governance, and collaboration with senior stakeholders to support strategic insights and performance enhancements.

Qualifications

• Ability to translate business requirements into analytical outputs.
• Advanced Power BI skills with M, DAX and Power Query.
• Experience with Power Automate and Power Apps for automation.
• Experience in Azure Databricks and Python for data engineering.
• Strong communication to convey findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of data governance and data lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide insight and analysis of asset, reliability and performance data to influence decision-making.
• Design, develop, and maintain advanced data reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI, Azure Databricks and Python.
• Develop automated workflows using Power Automate and Power Apps to streamline processes.
• Integrate and manage data from multiple sources ensuring data quality and governance.
• Advise on architecture, standards and best practices for scalable analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align reporting strategy with organisational goals.
