We’re an award-winning, family-run ice cream business based in the heart of the New Forest. For over 40 years, we’ve built our reputation on quality, care, and a passion for delivering delicious products across the UK. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a confident, motivated Inside Sales Specialist to join our friendly office team and help take our customer experience to the next level.

About the Role

This is a brand-new role, perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities, and isn’t afraid to pick up the phone. You’ll be speaking to a mix of existing customers, lapsed accounts, and new prospects – no two days will be the same.

Key responsibilities:

·Handling inbound customer enquiries and processing orders

·Calling existing customers to upsell and suggest new products

·Re-engaging with lapsed accounts to reactivate business

·Following up on warm leads that come through via phone and email

·Generating cold leads and booking appointments for the field sales team

·Maintaining and updating the CRM system with accurate contact and order info

·Managing the shared sales inbox and assisting with general admin

We’re looking for someone who:

·Has previous inside sales, telesales or customer service experience (ideally B2B)

·Is confident, outgoing, and doesn’t take “no” for an answer

·Has a persuasive phone manner and excellent communication skills

·Pays attention to detail and knows how to spot an opportunity

·Is comfortable with CRM systems and basic IT tools

·Enjoys working as part of a close-knit, supportive team

·Foodservice or FMCG experience is a bonus, but not essential.

Targets & Progression

You’ll have clear KPIs around:

·Upselling to existing customers

·Reactivating lapsed accounts

·Lead and appointment generation for the field sales team

·We’ll provide full training from our National Sales Manager and Operations Manager, and there’s genuine potential to grow into a field sales position in the future — with a company car provided.
