Job summary

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is hiring a Band 3 Therapy Support Worker for The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. The post is in the acute inpatient therapy team, working between Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy.

Qualifications

• Experience of working within or alongside physiotherapy and/or occupational therapy is desirable.
• Experience in an acute NHS therapy team is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own delegated clinical caseload and support with mobility and transfers assessments.
• Carry out delegated tasks and assist with discharge planning.
• Work in a ward setting under supervision from a Physiotherapist and/or Occupational Therapist.
