Job summary

Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Dorset is seeking a part-time Senior Therapy Assistant (Band 3) to join the Inpatient stroke therapy team. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide rehabilitation and promote independence for stroke patients.

The role requires a full UK driving licence with car access, good IT skills, and hospital experience. You will support MDT activities, run groups, and contribute to discharge planning, with a 1 in 6

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Promote stroke recovery and carry out rehabilitation set by the MDT.
• Promote independence in balance, mobility, arm function, and daily activities.
• Support the running of groups.
• Support discharge home visits to patients' homes.
• Support the stroke team with admin tasks, service improvements, and training programmes.
• Work over a 7-day rota to meet service demands.
