Job summary

Wight Healthcare is recruiting Healthcare Support Workers for our Physical Health Inpatient Wards at Lymington and Romsey Hospital. You'll join a dedicated MDT, delivering compassionate, patient-centred care under the supervision of Registered Nurses.

The role covers monitoring, basic treatment and facilitating recovery for acute physical health inpatients, with opportunities to progress from Band 2 to Band 3 on completion of competencies.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a healthcare environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Core MDT member delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
• Monitor, assist with basic treatment and support recovery of acute physical health inpatients.
• Work under the guidance of Registered Nurses and maintain safety and care standards.
