Job summary

Fortius Clinic is seeking an experienced Inpatient Physiotherapist to deliver evidence‑based care within our Orthopaedic service. You will manage your own caseload across inpatient and pre‑assessment settings, contribute to enhanced recovery pathways, and work with a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes.

Applicants should hold a Physiotherapy degree with HCPC and CSP registration, have NHS and private sector experience, and be adept with in‑house EPR systems.

Qualifications

• Physiotherapy degree with HCPC and CSP registration.
• Orthopaedic or surgical specialist CPD attendance.
• Experience in NHS and Private healthcare settings.
• Ability to manage own caseload.
• Understanding of CQC requirements.
• Proficient IT skills (Word, Teams, Excel).
• Experience with in-house EPR and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Be professional, legally responsible for all aspects of your own work.
• Provide high standard of clinical care and manage your own caseload.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and formulate treatment plans.
• Facilitate discharge planning and identify equipment/rehabilitation needs.
• Communicate with Therapy Manager and senior staff.
• Participate in weekend rota and shift patterns.
• Maintain high standards of safety, IPC and equipment management.
• Contribute to clinical audits and quality initiatives.
• Support staff wellbeing and Fortius values.
• Attend departmental meetings as required.
