The role encompasses antepartum, intrapartum and postnatal care, with opportunities for professional development, mentorship, and involvement in digital maternity systems.

Qualifications

• Registered Midwife with active UK NMC Pin.
• Completed Preceptorship program.
• Mentorship qualification or SSSA equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Undertake clinical activities required of a midwife.
• Provide care antenatally, intrapartum and postnatally in inpatient setting.
• Supervise midwives, preceptors, maternity assistants and students as necessary.
• Maintain records in line with NMC guidelines.
