Job summary

Priory Hospital Cheadle on Pankhurst Ward seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join the team. The role is full-time (37.5 hours) with a salary of £26,300 per year, located at Cheadle Royal in Stockport, part of the Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal inpatient service.

You will support assessment and deliver tailored treatment plans for patients. The role requires GCSEs/O-Levels and NVQ Level 2 or equivalent; prior health and social care experience is beneficial though entry-level candidates are

Qualifications

• GCSEs or O-Levels with grades A–C or equivalent
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent practical experience is required or beneficial

Responsibilities

• Update clinical records and computerised information systems accurately
• Record and report patient involvement in 1:1 and group activities and refer unusual events to senior staff
• Demonstrate compassion and maintain dignity and high standards of care
