Job summary

Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a GPhC registered Pharmacy Technician to join the Inpatient Dispensary Team. The role supports the Dispensary Manager in coordinating and delivering inpatient dispensing services within Division B, Band 4/5.

We welcome ACPT-qualified applicants or those willing to work towards ACPT; Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technicians may apply with entry-level Band 4.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 Pharmacy Services, BTEC Pharmaceutical Science or CGLI/Apothecaries Hall pre 1985 certificates.
• Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a pharmacy technician.
• Checking accreditation: Accredited Checking Technician (National Framework), Medicines Management Accreditation (CMMPT or national equivalent), or Preparative Services Checking Accreditation.
• Computer literacy (Word, Excel).
• Membership of the Association of Pharmacy Technicians UK (APTUK).

Responsibilities

• The Dispensary Specialist Pharmacy Technician supports the Dispensary Manager in the management, co-ordination and delivery of the Inpatient Dispensary service.
• All duties in accordance with Trust and Departmental policies and procedures.
• To undertake appropriate post-qualification studies as required.
