Job summary

NHS Tayside is seeking a Clinical Support Worker to join the Young People’s Unit (YPU) CAMHS for Dundee. The role supports inpatient care for young people aged 12-18, with a focus on assessment and treatment within a regional CAMHS hospital unit.

Band 3 (£29,103 - £31,409) per year, permanent contract, 36 hours per week, on-site at Dudhope House. Induction standards will be provided to develop new skills while working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Care and support for young people in CAMHS is required.
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to NHS Scotland Induction standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support to the Young People’s Unit with inpatient care.
• Assist with individual, group, and family work as part of CAMHS.
• Support shift patterns across 36 hours per week.
