Job summary

Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a creative Band 3 Activity Coordinator to join Brant Ward, an older adult mental health inpatient unit in Lincoln. The role involves planning and delivering meaningful social, recreational and therapeutic activities, including weekend provision, to support patient choice and wellbeing.

The post is 22.5 hours per week for six months with potential extension subject to funding; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or willingness to work towards achievement.
• Experience in mental health or activity facilitation preferred.
• Ability to work in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver meaningful activities for inpatients.
• Offer individual and group activities to suit patient needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and occupational therapy teams.
• Maintain activity resources and prepare materials.
• Record participation and handovers, contributing to care planning.
• Assess risks and ensure patient safety during activities.
