Job summary

Ross-Shire Engineering Limited seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our in-house multidisciplinary design team in Scotland. You will drive mechanical design from concept through to implementation, ensuring compliance with client specs and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in municipal water/wastewater design is desirable.
• Experience in a multidiscipline design team.
• Experience across all design stages from FEED to construction support is desirable.
• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical design aspects from inception to implementation.
• Ensure compliance with client specifications and regulatory standards.
• Participate in project reviews, safety studies (HAZOP), etc.
• Consider health, safety, quality and environmental factors in projects.
• Liaise with stakeholders and equipment suppliers to develop design solutions.
