Job summary

Oasis Academy Skinner Street is seeking an experienced Early Years Classroom Teacher to cover maternity leave. The role focuses on delivering high-quality EYFS learning experiences and collaborative planning with the EYFS Lead to ensure all children make strong start.

You will create a caring, stimulating environment, plan age-appropriate activities, and work with families and staff to support every child’s development and well-being.

Qualifications

• Experienced EYFS classroom teacher.
• Ability to plan engaging lessons for young learners.
• Collaborates with the EYFS Lead to support the youngest pupils.

Responsibilities

• Create a caring, stimulating environment that enables all pupils to learn effectively, mindful of varied starting points.
• Plan and prepare lessons and activities appropriate for the age group and ability of the children in the class.
• Actively participate in the Oasis Skinner Street family and support the wider community to achieve the best outcomes for children.
• Bring a passion for empowering the littlest learners with varied methods of delivering engaging learning activities.
• Introduce innovation and interactivity across teaching to continually raise standards.
• Develop rapport with all members of the school community while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
