Job summary

OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL's Innovate Oxfordshire is seeking a Technical Lead to deliver a diverse project portfolio across transport, health and care, energy integration and environment. You will work within the Innovation Programme Team to drive the full lifecycle of externally funded projects, from development to delivery, benefits realisation and close down.

The role requires forward thinking, with excellent stakeholder engagement and the ability to adapt to a dynamic innovation landscape.

.The Innovation Programme Team takes theleadon delivering externally funded projects, particularly grant-funded initiatives, following the whole lifecycle of the projects from development to delivery, benefits realisation and close down.

The Technical Lead applies their technical expertise, working alongside a multi-disciplinary team of professionals across a range of topics, and will also draw on expertise from across other teams in the service to be able to deliver the projects they lead.

About you

You are forward thinking, with experience in managing innovative initiatives. You have expertise within a relevant field which can be leveraged within the innovation programme delivery, and an understanding of local government. Whilst having a strong methodical approach in ensuring delivery, you also need to be creative and adaptable to the dynamic environment within the innovation sector. You have excellent people and stakeholder engagement and management skills, and are able to negotiate and leverage opportunities and support from others. You are self-motivated and able to work both independently and a

s part of a wider team.
