Job summary

MBDA is seeking a maternity cover lead for the Innovation & Future Technologies (IFT) UK and related functions. You will help coordinate leadership across the IFT group, steer UK initiatives, and collaborate with groups like Technology Watch, Open Innovation, and corporate ventures to deliver key projects.

The role offers a circa £35,000 salary dependent on experience, a hybrid working pattern, and opportunities including a company bonus up to £2,500, enhanced parental leave, flexible hours, and

Qualifications

• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a multinational environment.
• Ability to coordinate complex programmes and initiatives across groups.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Security clearance checks (BPSS) eligibility and process understanding.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of the IFT strategy and UK initiatives.
• Lead or support the IFT UK operating model implementation.
• Coordinate actions, prepare presentations, and track objectives.
• Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensure engagement.
• Lead on activities to develop team engagement and act as an ambassador for the IFT team.
• Drive best practice sharing internally and promote innovation activities.
