Job summary

Found Food & Drink is seeking an experienced Development Chef to lead culinary development from concept through to commercial launch. You will translate briefs into innovative, commercially viable recipes and work closely with co-manufacturing partners to ensure smooth scale-up and production transfer.

This role requires a strong culinary background from high-quality kitchens and the ability to adapt recipes for different manufacturing environments while maintaining product integrity and taste.

Qualifications

• Experience moving products from initial brief through kitchen development, customer approval and factory launch.
• Ability to translate briefs into creative, commercially viable concepts.
• Strong palate, texture, flavour and ingredient balancing for scale-up.

Responsibilities

• Own customer briefs and translate into concepts.
• Develop recipes and assess scale-up viability across sites.
• Prepare samples for presentations and internal reviews with high quality standards.
• Support transition from development to production with co-manufacturers.
• Protect concept integrity while adapting for production efficiency.
