About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and highly creative Innovation Chef to join the dynamic team in Nottinghamshire.

This is a rare opportunity for a chef with a Michelin-level background to move into an innovation-focused role — while enjoying an excellent work-life balance with daytime hours, Monday to Friday.

You will play a key role in developing new and exciting food concepts, working closely with the development and operations teams to bring Michelin-quality ideas into scalable, commercially successful products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative recipes, menus, and product concepts to Michelin-level standards
• Lead culinary sessions, tastings, and trials with internal stakeholders and customers
• Research and incorporate emerging food trends, flavours, and techniques
• Collaborate with NPD (New Product Development), marketing, and production teams to bring ideas from concept to launch
• Maintain detailed documentation of recipes, ingredients, and processes
• Ensure all innovation aligns with quality, safety, and brand standards

About You:

• Proven experience in Michelin-starred or fine-dining restaurants
• Passionate about food innovation, creativity, and culinary excellence
• Strong understanding of flavour profiling, modern cooking techniques, and food presentation
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• A proactive, solution-focused approach to challenges
• Previous experience in a development or innovation role is an advantage (but not essential)
