Job summary

Brenntag seeks a dynamic leader to drive technical growth, innovation and business development for its Nutrition distribution business across the UK & Ireland. You will manage the Leeds Innovation & Application Centre, leading a team of 2-3 professionals and supporting customers, suppliers and commercial teams with expert ingredient evaluation and application development.

• Experience leading and developing a high-performing technical team
• Strong project management and pipeline prioritisation
• Ability to evaluate ingredients through analytical testing and application development

Responsibilities

• Manages a pipeline of technical projects to grow Brenntag’s Nutrition distribution business UK&I
• Evaluates ingredients via analytical assessments, functional testing and application development
• Supports commercial teams with technical recommendations and customer visits
• Leads Leeds Innovation & Application Centre team of 2-3 professionals and fosters learning
• Oversees operations, safety, regulatory compliance and resource planning at the Leeds centre
• Plans and reports technical activities using company systems and procedures
• Builds strategic supplier partnerships for joint development and innovation
• Collaborates with Product Managers and Commercial teams to identify opportunities and growth
• Manages annual CAPEX budget for the Leeds centre and drives improvements
