Job Details

• Title: Innovation and NPD Manager
• Location: 10 minutes from Romford / East London / Must be a car driver
• Work Pattern: Full-time, Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
• Salary Range: £50,000 - £55,000 DOE + benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of new product launches from concept to market.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure project success.
• Lead end-to-end project management, including timelines, risk management, and stage gate processes.
• Support innovation strategy execution and oversee recipe development, trials, and post-launch reviews.
• Develop project timelines and coordinate activities across functions like Marketing, Supply Chain, Technical, and Sales.
• Conduct consumer research, competitor analysis, and monitor market trends.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate project risks.

Person Specification

• 4-5 years in NPD project management within food/branded retail sector.
• Experience with recipe development, costing, and factory trials.
• Strong communication, project management skills, and familiarity with stage gate processes.
• Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or related field preferred.
• Must be a car driver due to office location.
• UK residency and full visa status required.
