Job summary

Clifton Packaging Group Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an Ink Technician to blend inks, match colours and use the ink dispenser and spectrophotometer to ensure accurate production.

You will organise the daily print programme, meet data standards, keep a clean, safe environment, apply lean methods, manage ink supply for 24 hours, and log presses returns and production sheets for traceability. Up to £19 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Ink blending and dispensing to match data standards.
• Operate spectrophotometer and software to control colours.
• Maintain data records and comply with quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Make and prepare all inks for production to data standards and anilox strengths.
• Identify ink used and returned ready for subsequent runs.
• Organise workload in line with the daily print programme.
• Ensure that all established quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and log spills.
• Log press returns and update the system; assist printers as needed.
