Job Title: Ink Technician

Do you love working with colour? Are you an Ink Technician with 2-3 years’ experience looking to work for an award-winning self-adhesive label manufacturing company? We have an opportunity for an Ink Technician to join a world-class production facility focused on providing innovative, quality solutions to customers for a wide range of packaging requirements.

Main Responsibilities

1. Managing and formulating UV inks
2. Colour proofing
3. Troubleshooting colour problems
4. Colour matching by eye but predominantly with spectrophotometers

Key Requirements

1. Experience with UV inks
2. A good eye for colour and understanding of LAB Colour Space
3. Experience with Xrite IFS v6.41 or similar systems
4. Experience working in print and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices
5. Ability to work on own initiative
6. Effective team player and communicator
