Job summary

OPmobility is seeking an Injection Quality Engineer to lead all injection molding quality activities at the plant and support new product launches with robust quality performance. You will drive structured problem-solving (8D, 5 Why) and ensure containment, root cause analysis, and sustainable corrective actions across cross-functional teams.

You will also support APQP tasks (PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, Run@Rate) and ensure compliance with customer requirements through regular audits and KPI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or HND/HNC in a technical discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality role within an injection molding manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of automotive quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO/TS, and TISAX).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels.
• Dynamic and proactive with demonstrated quality change management.
• Ability to coach, motivate and lead cross‑functional teams.
• Solid knowledge of documentation including Control Plans, Standardized Work, and quality records.
• Proficiency with problem‑solving methodologies (8D, 5 Why, PSA, Six Sigma).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all injection molding quality activities within the plant.
• Support new product launches and ECIs to ensure robust quality performance.
• Drive structured problem-solving initiatives using 8D, 5 Why, and QRCM.
• Ensure containment actions, root cause analysis, and sustainable corrective actions.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support APQP activities including PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, and Run@Rate validations.
• Ensure compliance with control plans and customer requirements through regular audits (Layered Process Audits, VDA 6.3).
• Monitor, analyze, and report quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead and coach quality technicians, fostering training and a strong quality culture.
