Job summary

Apex Resource Management is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Process Engineer to strengthen quality ownership across series production in a high-performance automotive environment. You will lead control plans, PFMEAs and process documentation while driving CAPA actions and continuous improvement.

The role requires strong knowledge of automotive quality systems, problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration to ensure product conformity and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing quality.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP and PPAP.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve robust Control Plans using PFMEA.
• Create and maintain process documentation supporting inspection, verification and validation activities.
• Ensure all LEG-SOS requirements are current and aligned to production requirements.
• Support operator training for process changes.
• Develop torque audit plans aligned to build, process and quality requirements.
• Coordinate torque audit activity across departments.
• Document non-conformances and drive corrective actions.
• Manage Manufacturing Quality-owned QCRs from assignment to closure.
• Use statistical analysis to identify trends, root causes and improvements.
• Support cross-functional teams to achieve quality deliverables.
• Lead Manufacturing Quality Change Requests and ensure verification.
• Promote continuous improvement in manufacturing quality.
