Job summary

Pertemps North Midlands in Nuneaton is seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter on a full-time contract. The role involves setting mould tools, optimizing machine output and resolving production faults to keep lines running safely and to specification.

The successful candidate will have proven plastics processing experience, strong mechanical aptitude and a methodical approach to quality control. This is a stable, long-term opportunity with an established manufacturer investing in staff

Qualifications

• Proven experience in setting and maintaining injection mould tools.
• Strong knowledge of moulding processes, tooling and machine setting.
• Experience with process optimisation and fault-finding in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Set and start moulding machines and adjust processes within parameters.
• Approve first-off parts and ensure quality standards.
• Safely load/unload mould tools with appropriate equipment.
• Set up labellers and ancillary equipment as required.
• Monitor performance to maximise uptime, efficiency and cycle times.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot process issues.
• Support preventative maintenance and tooling service programmes.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards across production areas.
• Collaborate with production teams to improve quality and output.
