Job description

Why do we need you?

We are offering a 3rd Shift opportunity from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM. The responsibilities include:

1. Manufacturing close tolerance plastic parts by setting up and operating injection molding machines, ensuring safety, equipment maintenance, and quality documentation.
2. Setting up and running new production jobs as scheduled.
3. Ensuring manufactured parts meet customer requirements through detailed inspections.
4. Running production safely and measuring critical areas per sample lot size.
5. Deburring and bagging production in accordance with router steps and stamping off operations.
6. Maintaining a 5S workspace before, during, and after each shift.

Essential Functions:

• Reading blueprints and work orders to meet customer specifications.
• Producing parts following work orders, blueprints, and programming folders.
• Setting up molds and maintaining equipment with preventive maintenance.
• Monitoring process temperatures and injection pressures to detect non-conformances.
• Verifying settings by measuring with instruments like micrometers and calipers.
• Informing supervisors of machinery repairs.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment following all policies.
• Supporting team efforts and performing additional tasks as directed.
• Adhering to all site policies and demonstrating company principles.

Required Skills & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and follow written materials, including blueprints.
• 5+ years experience in thermoplastics processing and injection molding setup and operation.
• Experience with inspection equipment and quality procedures.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, good attendance, and flexibility for overtime.
• Manual dexterity and good vision to operate machinery and read instruments.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Additional Information
