Job summary

Rochdale Council is seeking an Initial Triage Assistant to join the Prevention & Digital Strategic plan team. You will be the front door for all new contacts into adult care, focusing on delaying and reducing care needs by supporting the delivery of assistive technology and Careline.

This expanding role will work with the Front Door and Careline functions, promote Rochdale values and equality, and help improve outcomes for local residents.

Job description

External candidates applying for this role must be a Rochdale Resident who lives within the municipal boundaries of the Borough of Rochdale (i.e where the household pays council tax to Rochdale Borough Council).

The salary on offer £26,427 - £26,847 pro-rata. The hours on offer are 30 hours per week.

We are currently looking for a dynamic and forward thinking individual to join our team as an Initial Triage Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the implementation of our Prevention & Digital Strategic plan, which aims to build digital inclusion across adult care. The Team is responsible for the provision of Assistive Technology including Careline and looking at alternative methods that could delay the need for care and support across Rochdale, enabling them to live healthier for longer.

In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to be part of the front door team for all new contacts coming into adult care, you will focus on delaying and reducing care and support needs by supporting the front door with the delivery of assistive technology and Careline.

This role is in an expanding team, which will be delivering and testing a range of existing and new initiatives. This role will include working alongside other roles within the prevention team, specifically working within the Front Door and Careline functions.
