Job summary

BDO UK LLP is seeking a senior Private Client Trust specialist to advise on UK and offshore trusts, estates and private charities. You will lead complex succession planning projects, review accounts, and provide expert tax guidance to clients and colleagues.

The role supports agile working and collaboration with partners and senior managers across a diverse global client portfolio. A degree with CTA/STEP is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Has proven specialist private client experience within a practice environment.
• Has strong project leadership experience and can guide the wider private client team.
• In-depth knowledge of taxation including Trust and IHT matters.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tax planning, advisory and compliance services for UK and offshore trusts, estates and private charities.
• Lead complex succession planning projects, including inheritance tax and wealth preservation matters.
• Review trust accounts and oversee related tax compliance and reporting.
• Provide technical expertise on trust, estate and inheritance tax issues to clients and colleagues.
• Build relationships with trustees, wealth advisers and senior client stakeholders.
• Supervise junior team members, lead projects, and support business development activities.
