Job summary

apetito is looking for an experienced Ingredients Manager to shape how we optimise ingredients and support our Kitchen West expansion. In the first 12–18 months you’ll join a focused project team, identifying opportunities to simplify processes, unlock value and deliver measurable business benefits without compromising food quality.

As the role evolves, you’ll take on a broader development remit, leading raw materials, managing Food Technologists and the Change Control Co-ordinator, and driving

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in food manufacturing, product development or technical roles.
• Proven ability to identify and deliver raw material or process improvements.
• Strong project management, prioritisation and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Seek and enact high-impact opportunities for ingredients, packaging and finished products.
• Collaborate with procurement, suppliers and cross-functional teams to implement viable ideas.
• Lead the introduction of new materials and manage change control processes.
• Provide leadership to Food Technologists and the NPD Raw Material and Change Control Co-ordinator.
