Infrastructure Technician
An established and growing multidisciplinary civil engineering consultancy is looking for an Infrastructure Technician to join its Swindon team.
This is a great opportunity for someone at the early stages of their civil engineering career who wants to develop hands-on experience across highways, drainage and development infrastructure.
You’ll work on a varied range of residential, commercial and leisure projects, supporting the detailed design of both private and adoptable infrastructure schemes.
You’ll also have the opportunity to work directly with clients, local authorities and wider design teams, with plenty of support and training as your experience develops.
You’ll receive a combination of on-the-job technical training and external training, with experienced engineers available to support your development.
Knowledge of AutoCAD 3D, PDS, Civil 3D, Site3D or InfoDrainage would be beneficial, although training can be provided.
An understanding of guidance such as Manual for Streets, DMRB, Local Highway Standards, Sewers for Adoption and Building Regulations would also be advantageous.
A full UK driving licence is desirable due to occasional travel to sites and meetings.
