Job description

Exciting opportunity for a Infrastructure Structured Finance Director - EMEA to join a European Corporate & Investment Bank in London

This role involves:

  1. Origination, structuring, execution, and portfolio management of project finance and acquisition finance transactions in the energy, infrastructure, and TMT sectors across the EMEA region.
  2. Supervising the transaction, portfolio, and administrative activities of vice presidents, associates, and analysts.
  3. Coordinating with internal stakeholders.
  4. Monitoring internal ratings, risk assessments, and supervising the review of reports, credit reviews, and waivers related to their portfolio.
  5. Ensuring compliance with certification requirements.
Candidate Profile

Minimum 7-8 years of experience in energy, infrastructure, and TMT project finance and structured finance transactions, including due diligence, credit analysis, execution, modeling, documentation, and administration.

Competencies Required
  • A degree in finance, economics, or accounting.
  • Formal credit training.
  • Extensive background in credit analysis and financial modeling.
  • Practical knowledge of financial products, finance, accounting, and documentation.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Strong credit, analytical, and financial modeling skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to analyze transactions independently and identify industry trends.
  • Experience as a transaction manager or deal team coordinator for complex transactions.
  • Advisory experience is a plus.
  • Team-oriented personality.
