Job Description

Exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure Structured Finance Director - EMEA to join a European Corporate & Investment Bank in London.

The role involves:

  1. Origination, structuring, execution, and portfolio management of project finance and acquisition finance transactions in the energy, infrastructure, and TMT sectors within the EMEA region.
  2. Supervising the transaction, portfolio, and administrative activities of vice presidents, associates, and analysts.
  3. Coordinating with internal stakeholders.
  4. Monitoring the validity of internal ratings, risk reassessment, and supervising the review of reports, credit reviews, waivers, and amendments related to their portfolio.
  5. Ensuring compliance with certification requirements.
The Successful Applicant

We seek a candidate with:

  1. Minimum 7-8 years of experience in energy, infrastructure, and TMT project finance and structured finance transactions, including due diligence, credit analysis, execution, modeling, documentation, and administration.
Competencies Required
  • A degree in finance, economics, or accounting.
  • Formal credit training.
  • Extensive experience in credit analysis and financial modeling.
  • Practical knowledge of financial products, finance, accounting, and documentation.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong credit, analytical, and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to conduct independent due diligence and identify industry/market trends.
  • Experience acting as a transaction manager or deal team coordinator for complex transactions.
  • Advisory experience is a plus.
  • Team-oriented personality.
