Argenta is currently looking to fill the role of Infrastructure & Security Engineer.

As Infrastructure & Security Engineer you will be responsible for Argenta's Infrastructure, System and Security engineering. Responsible for technical escalations, Infrastructure, Security, and System project execution. Working closely with IT operations and service to maintain and develop Infrastructure and Security across SaaS, PaaS, IaaS and on-premise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, documentation, and maintenance of Argenta’s Infrastructure and Security architecture, ensuring performance, scalability, and sustainability.
• Manage the organisation’s cybersecurity posture, including vulnerability assessments, incident response planning, and coordination with security MSPs for SIEM and threat detection.
• Assess current systems and infrastructure, identifying opportunities for optimisation, automation, and integration of new technologies to enhance efficiency and performance.
• Act as a technical liaison between IT and business units to define requirements, support solution design, and align technology with strategic business needs.
• Oversee compliance with internal security policies, regulatory standards, and audit requirements, ensuring timely resolution of findings and continuous improvement.
• Provide hands-on support for technical project delivery, from planning through to execution, including proactive resolution of escalated technical issues.
• Champion the sharing of best practices and knowledge across the IT team to support ongoing development and capability building.
• Maintain adherence to health, safety, GMP, and data integrity standards, while promoting a culture of operational quality and continuous improvement.
  

About You:

• Relevant degree qualification in Information Technology discipline
• Relevant industry technical certifications
• Working experience with both on-premises, public cloud (Azure) and SaaS/PaaS-hosted platforms.
• Excellent experience within the Microsoft portfolio – Azure, M365, Server OS, Hyper-V, AD, AAD, Intune\MEM and client OSs
• Excellent experience with virtualisation (Hyper-V & VMWare)
• Excellent experience with BDR
• Experience with resolution automation
• Experience with modern cyber security architectures.
• Experience in Infrastructure security controls, RBAC, PIM, ZTNA, DLP, CASB,EDR/EXR, SIEM & SOAR.
• Experience with update management and automation
• Practical knowledge, understanding and experience of Network technologies, LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN
• Understanding and knowledge of SDWAN and SASE.
• Working within ITIL framework, including change management
