Job summary

ERSG Ltd. is seeking a Risk Engineer to join a team delivering major electrical transmission infrastructure projects in Newport. The role is hybrid on-site, combining office and home working with travel to project sites as required.

You will work with Risk Managers and project teams to identify, assess and mitigate risks, improving programme certainty, cost control and successful delivery across a portfolio of complex construction projects.

Qualifications

Experience delivering risk management on major infrastructure, utilities, energy or construction projects.
Experience facilitating workshops with stakeholders at all levels.
Knowledge of ISO 31000 or equivalent risk management methodologies.
Willingness to travel and hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain project risk registers throughout the project lifecycle.
Facilitate risk workshops with project teams, clients and supply chain partners.
Produce and maintain QRAs for schedule and cost risk.
Monitor mitigation actions and ensure risks are effectively managed.
Support programme risk reviews and stage-gate assessments.
Analyse programme dependencies and recommend contingencies.
Produce risk reports and support continuous improvement.
Collaborate with Project Managers and Risk Managers to embed best practice.
