Finlay Jude Associates Ltd is seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join its growing infrastructure team. You will support the commercial delivery of water and wastewater projects, helping connect developments to essential networks through effective cost control and value optimization.

You’ll join a collaborative environment focused on safe, efficient delivery and career development while handling from inception to completion of commercial activities.

Qualifications

• Pricing for groundworks and civil works experience.
• Strong cost reporting and forecasting skills.
• Experience managing subcontractor accounts.
• Excellent Excel skills and data analysis ability.
• Clear communication and effective teamwork.
• Proactive with commercial awareness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare take-offs, measurements and pricing of works.
• Manage and assess subcontractor accounts.
• Report on completed works and forecast project costs.
• Support the preparation and submission of payment applications.
• Identify value engineering opportunities across operations and commercial processes.
• Monitor project costs and identify efficiencies to maximise margins.
• Work closely with operational teams to meet commercial objectives.
• Maintain accurate commercial records and reporting.
