Job summary

VSL International, part of Bouygues Construction, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for the Lower Thames Crossing project. The role embeds within the commercial team to ensure robust cost control, effective subcontract management and accurate financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

You will work with delivery, engineering and controls teams to manage valuations, applications for payment and final accounts while adhering to NEC contract terms and Bouygues procedures.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying or related field; professional membership such as RICS or working towards it.
• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor on major infrastructure, civil engineering or construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the commercial management of LTC work packages, providing QS and contractual support to project teams.
• Prepare cost plans, budgets, forecasts and cost reports for robust financial control.
• Manage valuations, payment applications and commercial assessments.
• Monitor package performance and identify commercial risks to support cost control.
• Administer subcontract obligations, including variations and changes.
